Wedding Card
The card has been designed for a lovely fictional gay couple, Sujoy and Sumit. I would use
words like classy, graceful, simple, traditional, minimalistic, and personalized to introduce you to their taste. I wanted to embrace the beauty of their taste. The design is thus kept simple and minimalistic. It has got many elements but they don’t fight for attention. The illustration that sits
on the first sheet, draws its inspiration from the celebrated Kalighat Painting style of West Bengal. The line art characters are but thematic representations of Sumit and Sujoy themselves. The background has a tone-on-tone jaal repeat using timeless yet traditional paisley motifs. The invitation uses the quintessential Bengali color palette. Red rules the design to some extent since it is considered an auspicious color in Bengali
culture. Here, Red also signifies pure passion and love. The word Panigrahan, used in the first sheet, is a Sanskrit word for marriage, which is more specifically a ritual where the couple sits hand in
hand, accepting each other as their life partners. The font styles used in the design are ‘Kumar One Outline’ and ‘Yatra One Regular’.
Birthday Invitation Card
Mimi is a young girl who loves violet, cute stuff and magic. So, Anwesha made a cute blueish violet card for her. She used simple illustrations to do the job. Antio and Marta were the font styles used in this project.

Engagement Invitation Card
Ananya and Sumon wanted a modern, sassy invitation card that would combine their favourite colours, peach and dark green. Alice, Glacial Indifference and Themysion were the font styles used in this invitation.
Engagement Invitation Card
The Bride hails from Lucknow and she wanted elements of Chikankari on the card. The couple was looking for a square-shaped traditional looking invitation card in a light coloured background. A subtle chikankari pattern for the backdrop, impressed the bride. Niconne and Microsoft Himalaya were the two font styles used in the design.
